Christian Solomine is Vice President for the Transportation & Logistics group at Uptake. He is a dynamic and highly sought after speaker on topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Leaning and how they can work in correlation with Industrial IoT deployments as well as on topics related to the fleet and telematics industry.
Christian’s IoT and wireless experience span the greater part of the past two decades including his time as General Manager for the North America Global Partner Program at Telefonica Digital, where he was focusing on IoT solutions such as telematics as well as connected car strategies where he worked with many Tier 1 Auto OEMs for their deployments world-wide. Prior to Telefonica, Christian ran worldwide M2M sales for Rogers Communications in Canada, and directed sales at Jasper Wireless for their fleet management and consumer electronics practice. Christian first started in the telematics market in 2001 where he lead sales and marketing for a fleet tracking software organization.
Christian is a magna cum laude graduate of James Madison University’s College of Integrated Science & Technology and also received a Master of Science in Information Technology. He also holds an MBA from the Daniels College at the University of Denver.
